Right next to William the Conqueror's castle. The apartment is actually in the first university of caen ! Opposite is a small park and gorgeous medieval church. The famous Abbaye aux hommes is 1 minute away. It's surrounded by fabulous old buildings. On Friday there is a typical french market right outside. Loads of organic veg, cheese, patisserie... There are some great restaurants next door for a romantic dinner so are all the shops for chic french fashion ! The coast is a 15 minute drive for the Dday landing beaches ! The famous war memorial museum is 10 minutes away. Everything you need for a quiet break in historical france !
