The immediate surroundings are tall buildings which are about 100 yards away from mine, on the other side of the road, in a little street with very little traffic as it is a one way street and people only come here to park their car. There is a nice park one can see from my flat 3 mns walk away, the Belleville park.
The district is a multi-racial, family-like one, with lots of stores to buy food from, and my flat is about 5mns walk from the trendy rue Oberkampf, which is a very busy street at night, full of restaurants and cafés where people hang out
